According to a report in Times Of India (TOI), Oviya’s complaint named one Thariq, someone she was friends with. The Kerala-born actor distanced himself from him when his behavior became unacceptable. According to the report, the complaint claimed that Thariq orchestrated the leak of morphed videos of Oviya online in an act of revenge. Thariq also has several videos and morphed images of other women, the actor reportedly said in his complaint.

The Big Boss fame has not released an official statement regarding the developments. However, she had previously bravely responded to cyberbullies who came forward with sleazy and provocative comments on Instagram.
