The creator of Garry’s Mod “finally” obtains one of the rarest achievements in sandbox gaming: playing on the same server as him

Garry Newman, the developer behind Garry’s Mod, “finally” achieved one of the beloved sandbox game’s rarest feats: he played the game as himself, with himself.

Garry’s Mod has long stood the test of time as one of Facepunch Studios and Valvebut there is one achievement that most players will never unlock (legitimately, anyway). It’s about “playing on the same server as Garry” – AKA creator Garry Newman, who apparently hasn’t had this rare achievement himself until now. “I finally understood,” he wrote in a job with a screenshot of the new “Yes, I’m the real Garry!” realization.
