In a video shared on TikTok, Mathendu recounts how his rider became jealous when he saw him riding another boda boda.

“I don’t know about you, but does your bodaman get super jealous when he sees you board another boda,” he posed.

The TikToker said he was on his way to the city and was running late, so he didn’t want the hassle of calling and waiting for his usual boda boda. So he chose to buy one at random.

However, his usual date saw him and seemed to be mad at him for taking another guy.

“As I was leaving my home area and heading towards the stage, I ran into my body guy. As soon as I saw him, I smiled at him, trying to wave at him, but this man didn’t answer me.

By his face I could tell he was mad and jealous, so I automatically knew I would suffer the consequences later,” he said.

He further said that upon entering the matatu, he received a call from a family member asking if he had paid the man for a delivery the day before because he demanded it.

“I was wrong. When I entered the matatu, a family member called me to ask if I had paid my boda guy for a delivery he made yesterday, and I said no, then my relative asked why they were called to pay,” Mathendu noted.

According to the content creator, his boda boda man was taking out his frustrations on one of his family members, but he could have called him directly to ask for money.

“He could have called me, but it must be petty, and I love him for that; he will carry me tomorrow.

I don’t care. No other boda man will come between us. This bond we share is so strong and will never be broken,” he added.
