Jealous Wendy’s Fans Say ‘Nothing Good Ever Happens’ in the US After International Release of New Frosty Flavor

Wendy’s has included the Frosty on its menu since 1969, delighting fast food fans with a sweet, cold treat to accompany their burgers and fries.

Starting in 2006, the company began experimenting with different flavors, and over the years, fans have come to love the offerings, from vanilla to strawberry to peppermint and more. But some American fans are unhappy, as they’ve noticed international countries are getting flavors that haven’t yet been released in the United States.

Food blogger Snackolator revealed on October 11 that Wendy’s was launching a chocolate-covered frozen pretzel in Trinidad and Tobago, prompting fans to lament the lack of availability in the United States.

“When will America get something good,” one fan wrote on Instagram, while another said, “Nothing good ever happens at USA Wendy’s.”

“We need this in the US,” one person commented, while another exclaimed “Why is the US so afraid of having Frosty mixes.” “Do it.”

According to the food blogger, the new Frosty flavor starts with a vanilla or chocolate base, then is topped off with fudge swirls and crushed pretzels to combine the sweet and salty flavors that Wendy’s fans love. Just ask anyone who has ever dipped a fry. in a Frosty.

“I think we’re going to have more flavor options now that Wendy’s is finally embracing swirls/mixes here, and the options are endless,” the popular Instagram account continued in the caption, going so far as to suggest that the fast chain food “add a little peanut butter sauce to that and it might be one of the best frozen flavors ever!”

Earlier this week, it was announced that Wendy’s locations in the UK would be receiving a Frosty Frozen Hot Chocolate for a limited time. An official description from the chain says it mimics the “comforting taste of hot chocolate chilled into a cool, creamy delight” and features “Wendy’s signature Chocolate Frosty® now with a rich swirl of chocolate sauce and topped with mini marshmallows soft.”

American fans were also dismayed by the lack of availability in the US, calling it a “tease” and saying “Never anything good in the US smh 🤦🏻‍♀️”.
