Amy Childs admits she ‘lost herself’ when having children as she was ‘badly criticized’ for her parenting style, but insists ‘mums are just jealous of her’

Amy Childs has admitted she “lost herself” when having children after being viciously criticized for her parenting style.

The TOWIE alum, 34, said she was “badly trolled” by mums who shamed her for keeping her twins, who were 10 months old at the time, in a routine.

Amy, who shares twins Milly and Billy, now 17 months, with fiancé Billy Delbosq, 41, insisted “mums were just jealous of her” after criticizing her for keeping them into a very strict sleep routine.

Amy also shares daughter Polly, seven, with builder Bradley Wright, and Ritchie, five, with his ex of the same name.

Speaking on Charlotte Dawson’s Naughty Corner podcast, mother-of-four Amy began receiving nasty hateful comments about the way she raises her children.

The TOWIE alum said she was “severely trolled” by mums who shamed her for keeping her twins, who were 10 months old at the time, in a routine.

She said: “It’s chaos, but with me, I’m a very routine mum. I’m very organized, and with work and anything, I’m always needed.

“When you’re a mom, you completely lose yourself, and when I had Polly and Ritchie, there was only 15 months difference between the two of them. I really feel like I lost myself.

“But I’m still Amy, I’m 34, I’m a fun mom. I’m glamorous.

She added: “I’m really organised, the twins and Polly have a really good routine.

‘7:30/8 p.m., Polly and Ritchie are in bed and the twins are at 6:30 p.m., religiously, every night. And they will wake up at 6:30.

“I really got trolled because when they were 10 weeks old they were both in a routine.

“I’ve never received so many messages, from people saying ‘oh my god, this is terrible’. For the twins to sleep, I found it incredible, but I was really trolled.

Stunned by why Amy was trolled, Charlotte wrote: “They’re just jealous because they’re kids who stay up all night.”

She said: “I was really trolled because when they were 10 weeks old they were both in a routine. I’ve never had so many messages, people saying “oh my god, this is terrible”. For the twins to sleep, I thought it was great, but I really got trolled’

Stunned by why Amy was trolled, Charlotte wrote: “They’re just jealous because they’re kids who stay up all night.” Amy replied, “I know.”

Amy also shares daughter Polly, seven, with builder Bradley Wright, and Ritchie, five, with his ex of the same name.

Amy replied, “I know.”

The reality star recently showed off her dramatic two-stone weight loss in a glamor snap on Instagram.

She looked incredible in a black swimsuit as she confidently posed for a mirror selfie, admitting “it’s the best she’s ever felt”.

Amy said she struggled to lose weight and get back to her pre-baby weight after Milly and Billy were born.

She captioned her post: “Feeling proud. Almost 2 stone lighter and WOW, I feel better than ever since having the twins!!

“I really struggled to lose weight after babies, I was in a complete baby bubble with no energy, and the last thing I wanted to do was “diet”

“10 months ago I decided to follow a @freya.potentiacoaching diet plan and train up to 3 times a week with MY PT! as well as reformative Pilates (which I absolutely love), ideal for toning up.

“I still really enjoy weekends away with a few glasses of Prosecco or a bottle BUT this is basically a post to say if you were in the same boat as me 9 months ago and struggling to lose weight!

Amy said she struggled to lose weight and get back to her pre-baby weight after the birth of her twins Milly and Billy.

“So if I can do it, you 1000% can do it too!” It’s not a miracle solution and it took me months but I’m starting to feel good about myself again!

“I never thought I would feel confident uploading photos of myself, especially in a swimsuit, there’s still a lot of toning to do, but I also remember I had 4 kids so I should be very proud of how far I’ve come ♥️

‘PS I just realized I still have moisturizer on my leg!’

The reality star rose to fame in the first series of the ITVBe reality show in 2010 and remained there until 2012, but returned almost a decade later in 2020.

Amy and Billy have been together since October 2021, two months after Amy split from ex-boyfriend Tim after 14 months together.
