Kempner water repairs completed, still needs to be conserved

Kempner, Texas (FOX44) – Repair crews report repairs to a leaking water main are complete, but water tanks still need to be filled and conservation measures were still needed in Lampasas Thursday morning.

Lampasas crews were monitoring the process closely and hoped to begin restoring water to Lampasas as soon as possible, but it was noted that it could take up to 12 hours for water to reach Lampasas. It was hoped the system could be fully restored by Thursday evening, but things were still being closely monitored.

Water distribution continued to the fire department.
