Dr Aurobindo Ghosh on inflation in Singapore

The big bargain chains came out on top, in a context of persistent inflation. Some have seen up to 15 percent increase in sales. But for small mom-and-pop stores, they continue to struggle. Dr. Aurobindo Ghosh, assistant professor of financial education at SMU and director of SMU’s financial education, inclusion and technology program, talks about September’s core inflation. He explains what this would mean in terms of cost of living, particularly for different income groups.
