Sheriff Brian Kelley of the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office shared a public notice on Facebook regarding the footage and stating that an internal investigation would be conducted.

He further added that the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office “never tolerates staff misconduct,” but that it “understands that all sources of information must be evaluated before drawing conclusions.”
