The Dare County Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce the launch of a needs assessment survey, as well as a series of public drop-in sessions to discuss future projects, programs and community initiatives , and to gather feedback from residents and property owners on community preferences and priorities for recreational offerings in Dare County.

Attending these public consultation sessions provides a great opportunity for community members to engage with McGill Associates, the company that was hired to conduct the assessment. Those who cannot attend any of the public consultation sessions are nevertheless strongly encouraged to give their opinion by participating in the needs assessment survey.
