But there’s a problem that comes with not using the dryer: clothes take a ridiculously long time to dry, especially when the weather is cold and humid.

Not only does this mean we have clothes lying around our house for days, it can also cause condensation, which can lead to mold and mildew and make clothes smell damp when they eventually dry.

Luckily, one woman has shared a great buy that will have her clothes drying in no time.

Most of us use indoor clothes dryers in the winter for our laundry, but as noted earlier, drying can take a while.

But this great buy from B&M will solve that problem in no time.

On social media, Gracie, from the UK, shared a copy of the Dry:Soon heated diffuser which costs around £170.

She found a much cheaper alternative at B&M, which cost just £50, but has since been reduced in price to £35.

The heated dryer has 12 meters of drying space and simply needs to be plugged in.

The metal bars will heat up and you can hang your laundry on them, drying them in no time.

Additionally, people say that it is very cheap to operate, especially compared to a clothes dryer.

4 ingenious tips for drying clothes without heating

People were quick to embrace the comments seemingly desperate to get their hands on winter essentials.

One person wrote: “I have this, it’s the best thing and it’s cheap.” »

More Winter Laundry Tips

Doing laundry in winter can be a challenge, but these handy tips can help you stay on top of things:

  • Use a dehumidifier: Place a dehumidifier in your drying area to speed up the drying process and prevent humidity.
  • Spin cycle boost: Run an extra spin cycle on your washing machine to remove excess water from clothes, reducing drying time.
  • Indoor drying rack: Invest in a good quality indoor drying rack and place it near a radiator or in a well-ventilated room.
  • Dryer balls: Add dryer balls to your dryer to help clothes dry faster and reduce static cling.
  • Space-saving hangers: Use space-saving hangers or a retractable clothesline to maximize indoor drying space.
  • Microfiber towels: Lay microfiber towels on your drying rack to absorb extra moisture from hanging clothes.
  • Partially dry outside: In dry weather, hang clothes outside for a short time before bringing them inside to finish drying.

These tips can help you keep your laundry routine effective and your clothes fresh, even during the colder months.

“I have one, I put it in my room so it also serves as heating at night,” wrote a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “They had this today but didn’t notice it was hot.”

“Also make sure you download the app, scan the barcode and 9/10 it’s usually even cheaper!” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Damn I paid £45 for mine but it came with a cover.”
