(Gray News) – A man in Florida is accused of posing as a security guard to attend a Taylor Swift concert, authorities say.

Police said Ivan Mariotti, 44, was seen wearing a suit with a badge on his neck near the stadium floor as the pop star kicked off his three-night stop.

A police officer asked Mariotti why he wore a badge and he responded that he had been hired by four women to work as a security guard, WPLG reported.

Mariotti said he escorted the women to their seats and did not have a ticket but was working security and that is how he got in.

He provided the name of a security company and identification, but the women said their aunt had hired a driver for the concert, not a security guard.

Mariotti was charged with falsely impersonating an officer and interfering with an entertainment event.
