BISMARCK — The State Historical Society of North Dakota invites ND teens ages 13 to 18 to submit original work interpreting the theme. “What North Dakota Means to Me” to 2025 “Teen Takeover” competition, according to a press release.

This year’s theme encourages participants to think about their connection to the state and express what makes ND special to them. Whether through 2D visual art or written creative expression, teens are encouraged to bring their unique voices and visions to life.

The submission deadline is December 1. The finalists’ work will be on display in spring 2025 at the ND Heritage Center & State Museum in Bismarck. For more information, contact the ND State Historical Society.
