Ukraine publishes alleged Russian investigation into North Korean soldiers’ uniform sizes

Ukrainian officials have released what they say is a questionnaire prepared by the Russian military to ask North Korean soldiers the size of their uniforms and other information.

The Ukrainian Center for Strategic Communication and Information Security, which operates under the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, published the questionnaire on social media on Sunday.

The center said the questionnaire contained instructions in Russian and North Korean. But when the document was used or how it was obtained was not disclosed.

Before that, the center also released images of North Korean soldiers receiving uniforms and equipment in Russia.

The Associated Press quoted the center’s director as saying the footage is the first video evidence of North Korea’s participation in the war on Russia’s side. He called for more support for Ukraine from the international community.

Amid strengthening military ties between Russia and North Korea, South Korean intelligence said the North sent about 1,500 special forces troops to the Russian Far East this month. She believes the soldiers will be deployed to the battle front in Ukraine.
