A McLouth woman facing at least a fourth drunken driving conviction pleaded not guilty to three felonies Friday in Douglas County District Court.

Elisabeth Liana Mason, 47, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded guilty after her attorney, John De Marco, informed the court that her client was close to entering into a plea deal with the prosecutor’s office. Douglas County Prosecutor.

The three felonies, including fourth or subsequent DUI, criminal damage to property and interference with law enforcement, are part of a six-count complaint that also alleges two misdemeanor counts of assault and battery against a law enforcement officer and transporting an open container.

The charges stem from Mason’s May 21 arrest in the 800 block of Vermont Street. The complaint alleges his blood alcohol level was 0.21, nearly three times the legal limit of 0.08. The property she allegedly damaged was a 2023 Subaru owned by another person.

The complaint lists his three previous DUIs as two in Douglas County and one in Wyandotte County.

Court records indicate Mason previously pleaded guilty to a fourth or more DUI in Douglas County in 2015.

Mason also served time in the Kansas Department of Corrections for theft, interference with law enforcement and battery.

Judge Stacey Donovan scheduled Mason’s plea hearing for Nov. 6.
