Downtown bus assault: Woman throws cup of bodily fluids on 2 teens

Saskatoon police arrested a 29-year-old Saskatoon woman after she smashed a city bus window and committed an assault Thursday.

Shortly before 3 p.m., in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue North, police were called following a disturbance involving a bus.

Alternative Response Officers patrolling the area arrived and found the sole occupant of the bus acting erratically inside.

According to the press release, two girls aged 17 and 19 were verbally and physically assaulted before the unknown man threw a cup of bodily fluids at them.

650 CKOM asked Saskatoon police what type of bodily fluids were used in the assault, but police said it had not been determined.

“Unfortunately no; It is possible that it is a mixture of fluids, but I am not able to say for sure what it is. However, I can confirm that blood was not one of them.

The 29-year-old man broke a window at the back of the bus and was arrested.

Police charged her with assault (x2), mischief over $5,000 and breaching court conditions.
