Authorities investigating after Halloween decorations were stolen

MORGAN CO., Ala. (WAFF) – Authorities in Morgan County are investigating after giant Halloween decorations were stolen from someone’s yard.

The homeowners said the thieves took a giant 12-foot-tall skeleton and a large jack-o’-lantern.

Reanna Wallace is the daughter of the person to whom the decorations belonged. She said it really hurt her parents who had put a lot of work into their elaborate Halloween display.

“It’s really disrespectful. We put a lot of work into it, especially our mom and dad, with everything,” Wallace said. “We use his company card at Home Depot to buy everything, so it’s really hurtful to do that to the community.”

She says her family has been organizing this exhibition since 2021.

If you see the decorations, you are asked to call the police.
