2 teens found with fatal gunshot wounds in vehicle in Douglas County

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA. – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of Beatriz Vega, 17, and Roberto Deleon, 19, who were found seriously injured in a vehicle on October 12.

Deputies responded to an automated crash alert coming from an iPhone around 1 a.m. at 3253 West Stewart Mill Road. However, when police arrived, they found no signs of a collision. Instead, they discovered Vega and Deleon in the front seats of the car, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Both were transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.
