Spoiled Cat’s Ultra-Luxurious Shopping Spree Is Giving Everyone Major FOMO

Spoiled Cat’s Ultra-Luxurious Shopping Spree Is Giving Everyone Major FOMO

I never thought I’d say I was jealous of a cat, but here we are. Messi is a beautiful Persian cat who is the definition of spoiled, and their shopping sprees probably cost more than most of us make in a year. Messi’s dad posted a video of the two of them at the mall at the end of September, and I’m green with envy!

The two men visit ultra-luxurious boutiques where you normally have to make an appointment to enter. The cat received a new Gucci collar. At Fendi, they received a new coat. At Chanel they tried on a necklace that was probably worth more than my wedding ring. Watch to see where the cat takes Dad, as he lets Messi lead the way.

As you can imagine, Messi’s video went viral and has over 7.5 million views, over 1 million likes and over 7,000 comments. People had a lot to say about the Persian cat’s shopping spree. @rahman received nearly 37,000 likes for her comment: “Did she just call me poor in every possible language?” and @Moon added: “I can tell from their walk that they are indeed regular customers LOL!” I laughed at @Claudio who joked: “My cat started packing.” and another commenter added: “My cat sent me this.” @Ulta Beauty even replied, “Me as a cat if anyone cares.”

Very spoiled and pampered animals

Although many of us spoil our pets, I’m pretty sure it’s not as much as celebrities and the ultra-rich do. There are some very pampered pets out there and people spend crazy amounts of money on them.

Rover shared the story of Lucky Diamond, the animal rights Maltese poodle and Animal fair Wendy Diamond, founder of the magazine. Diamond planned a wedding for her dog that cost nearly $140,000 and “included a $4,000 dog dress, a sushi bar and, in Jewish tradition, a chuppah. Sadly, Lucky died just before She was about to say her vows to one Mr. Lucky my boy, but the party went as planned – this time celebrating Lucky’s life. Which, by the way, was very. glamorous and included jet-setting vacations and nearly 400 celebrity encounters – the Guinness World Record for a dog!

How do you know if you have a spoiled puppy? Forbes Advisor says there are signs. These include buying outfits and accessories for your dog, spending more on your dog’s health and grooming than your own, throwing them birthdays and other celebrations, taking your dog on vacation with you and spray perfume or cologne on your dog.

We all spoil our pets in different ways, and I guess if I were a millionaire I’d probably spend stupid amounts of money on my dog. To each their own. And it doesn’t matter if, like me, you’re jealous of spoiled animals; according to the comments on Messi’s post, we are not alone!
